Joyful and creative Easter celebrations at the Riga Central Market

On 3 April, everyone who visited the Central Market had a chance to plunge into a joyful holiday mood and participate in creative activities as well as feast on the delicacies made by the chefs for the Easter celebrations in the Vegetable Pavilion.

1 The flamboyant artist Jānis Anmanis took care of the creative activities for every visitor of the event

2 Rabbits, the relatives of the Easter Bunny, were special guests of the Vegetable Pavilion to the great delight of the little visitors

3 On the Easter eve, small and big participants of the event had the opportunity to be inspired by the brightest and most beautiful egg painting

4 To create unusual imprints, the egg painters could choose a variety of grits and natural materials

5 Tatjana Lukina, Member of the Board of Riga Municipality JSC Riga Central Market, greets the mascot of the event – the Easter Bunny – in the Vegetable Pavilion

6 The Easter Bunny is looking at the healthy and delicious egg dishes prepared by the young cooks from Ventspils Vocational Secondary School

7 Visitors to the market had an excellent opportunity to indulge in the artists’ creative work and get a special Easter portrait

8 During the blind tasting, the visitors identified the most delicious bread offered by the Central Market’s sellers
