Riga Central Market Invites You to a Spring Holiday Concert on 8 March

On Tuesday, 8 March, Riga Central Market will please its visitors with a loud open-air concert and lovely surprises.

Anatolijs Abramovs on behalf of Rīgas Centrāltirgus AS: The traditional concert at the beginning of the spring at the Central Market is a beautiful way how to make our customers and merchants happy and also celebrate beginning of the new flower market season. My suggestion to the gentlemen would be to delight their beloved ladies with flowers not only on holidays, but also on regular weekdays as the Central Market will always offer something for your taste, besides the prices are much friendlier than in other parts of the city.

From 11:00 to 13:00 both local and visiting females will be pleased with an open-air holiday concert at the Nēģu Street square. It will include performance of a project of three great musicians – Ruska nevainīgais trio (Rusk’s Innocent Trio) holiday orchestra. TV host and musician Andris Kivičs will present new and especially romantic programme as well. He

Throughout the whole day, the Central Market will also host the first thematic fair of this year offering craftsmen products and artisan food.

The female visitors and merchants of Rīgas Centrāltirgus AS will be greeted with spring flowers while the smallest visitors – with bright balloons. Along with the first spring sun, visitors of the concert will also have a chance to warm up with a cup of warm herbal tea.

The concert will be free of charge for all visitors of Riga Central Market. You are more than welcome to do shopping and enjoy the concert and other surprises offered by Riga Central Market at the same time.
