Riga Central Market Invites You to Welcome the Easter and Prepare for the Spring
On Friday 25 March from 11:00 to 14:00, an Easter welcoming event in a spring-like mood will be held at the roots pavilion. The Central Market will be taken over by green sprouts, willow catkins, first leaves, rabbits, birds, and forest.

Use the opportunity to buy products which are not available there every day and get ideas for healthy and delicious holiday meals at the Central Market’s Easter Fair.
As early as from 11:00, the pavilion will be kept busy by the mascots of the Central Market the Little Basket and the Little Cornet joined by the Easter Bunny who altogether will be providing creative activities and cheerful games. There will be a paddock of rabbits – the little relatives of the Bunny.
Everyone will have a chance to make a bird house, finger dolls, and clay eggs. The visitors will have a chance to pick up their egg dying skills or try luck in an egg fight.
The most engaging participants will get treats and spring flower sprouts from Riga Central Market, besides, the participants will determine the prize by spinning the Spring Solstice Wheel of Fortune.
The new cooks will be giving advices on spring-time vitamin intake and egg dish recipes. Anyone interested will also have an opportunity to try some food as well.
From 25 to 27 March, the Easter Fair at the open space of the Central Market will offer the best craft treats and the most beautiful artisan works which may not be found there on an ordinary day.
The Hide and Seek of Rabbits exhibit/game will be held at the Central Market from 21 to 28 March. Every visitor is invited to engage in the game and express their creativity by taking pictures at the rabbit figures and post them on their social networks by using the hashtag #kurzakis. After the end of The Hide and Seek of Rabbits exhibit/game, authors of the most interesting pictures will receive prizes.
