Warehouses – Spikeri
Take a look at the red brick warehouse buildings (Spikeri), almost 150 years old. Each of them is built on individual designs made by known and respected architects in Europe and Russia – Karlis Felsko, Fridrich Hess, Robert Pfug, Reinhold Shmiling, Janis Baumann. 58 warehouses were built from 1864 to 1886, but only 13 are survived to the present days.
